Ryan Beerley: A Rare Find That Brings Unique Skills to the Table

Written by Kevin Mauger | Tuesday, September 20, 2022

Meet Ryan Beerley, our employee spotlight this month! Ryan has been with Glide-Line for about three and a half years. He is a dedicated Applications Engineering Manager. Ryan says building relationships and being a problem solver are two of the reasons he loves working where he does. He feels Glide-Line is a standout company because of the way small teams have the ability to make big impacts in the success of the company.

Ryan has accomplished a lot in his short time with the company but he is particularly proud of the learning and configuring of the electro-mechanical products with Ron Schwar. He also helped educate the team on how the DC motors are controlled.

Ryan’s direct supervisor is Craig Newberry who explained that Ryan Beerley is one of those rare finds that brings a lot of different skills to the table.  Over his time at Glide-line, Ryan has been able to show off his talents in Controls, Documentation, Applications, and Leadership, just to name a few.  While his versatility is an excellent attribute, his personality is what makes him so valuable to the team.  Ryan brings a calm, cool and collected demeanor to the team.  Even when pushed outside his comfort zone on a topic, Ryan retains a level head and always strives for a solid solution.  This personality trait is extremely beneficial as the Applications Manager but will also serve him well in whatever life path Ryan follows.  With a levelheaded yet very adventurous approach to life, it will be fun to see what life has in store for Ryan.

When Ryan has free time, away from work, he enjoys playing disc golf, the trumpet and trivia. Some would be surprised to know he has an identical twin brother, two older sisters and is an uncle to five nieces/nephews. Someday, Ryan would like to live the ‘carefree life’ in a camper, driving around the country sightseeing and looking for adventure.  Gline-Line is proud to call Ryan a part of their team and excited to watch his personal and professional life grow.
