Meet Trevor Price, our employee spotlight this month! Trevor has been with Glide-Line for about three and a half years. His current role is a Lead Applications Engineer but is transitioning into the role of Operations Manager. Trevor says he loves working in an environment that allows him to make a significant impact in a variety of facets in the business. Trevor may be “newer” to the business but he has proven to be a natural leader. He is hard working, catches on very quickly and is an all round team player.
Trevor has been a part of several projects but one of his favorites has been the Covid19 Test Kit production line. Trevor said, “We managed to design, build and ship within 4 weeks after receiving the request. It was a true testament to our ability to provide fast deliveries and a super village effort from our entire company to do our part in our fight against the pandemic.”
Glide-Line is a great place to work for many reasons but Trevor says what really makes it a standout company is the people. “Everyone here truly cares about the work they are completing. It makes coming to work everyday very enjoyable.”
Craig Newberry, Trevor’s supervisor says, “In my opinion finding the correct balance of “give me the ball” or letting a more appropriate teammate “take the ball” is key to performing well in a culture driven company such as ours. Trevor Price has developed this ability very early in his career and continues to strive for the betterment of the team. This attribute is a major component in continuing to further develop the culture here. Trevor shows the warrior spirit we desire for our village, and I look forward to seeing where this mentality takes him in his career path. Trevor is a valued teammate in the Glide-Line delta group and respected for the knowledge he has gained in a fairly short period of time. As the Glide-Line product continues to develop I have no doubt that Trevor will play a critical role in its success.”
When Trevor is not busy working, he is a big sports fanatic. Football and golf are two of his favorites. He also enjoys traveling and soaking up the rays on summer days at the beach. Trevor is the proud dog dad to a (what he thinks) is a 6 year old pitbull named Stella. She was a stray dog he found wandering the back alley outside his college house near Philadelphia. When Trevor found Stella she was beaten, starving and scared. He attempted to find an alternative home for her, but after a few days in his care, he had no choice but to keep her forever. “This dog has taught me so many important life lessons and helped shape the person I am today. Our bond is something special and I am truly grateful this dog stumbled into my life!” His kindness towards a stay dog is completely in line with his kind personality.
