Drop Away Stops

Drop-Away Stops are designed to work at an LTU (Lift and Transfer Unit) intersection where pallets are required to traverse in multiple directions.  Drop-Away Stops come in two configurations, TKDS (Trunk-line Drop-Away Stop) and TVDS (Transverse Drop-Away Stop).  The TKDS is designed to mount to the side of an LTU, allowing for additional traffic control along the trunk-line conveyor.  The TVDS mounts on the transfer conveyor to provide traffic control as the pallet moves transversely on the LTU.

Both the TKDS and TVDS are double acting and dampened to fit most applications. Dampened Stops offer a pneumatic cushioning force to the work piece that slows the impact of the pallet against the stop. The cushioning force can be adjusted to suit specific application needs. Larger stops and higher cushioning forces are available upon request. These stops work best with Glide-Line pallets but can be configured for any application.

  • Pneumatic stop actuation
  • Additional traffic control for LTU stations
